The Inclusive Society Institute continues to make significant strides in advancing constitutional literacy and democratic values among secondary school learners in Gauteng Province. On Monday, 23 June 2025, learners from Hercules High School in Pretoria participated in the “Taking the Constitution to the People” workshop, facilitated by Patrick Motsepe, the Institute’s Gauteng Schools Coordinator.

This dynamic workshop was designed to deepen learners’ understanding and appreciation of South Africa’s democratic Constitution, exploring its history, structure, and the fundamental rights and responsibilities enshrined in Chapter 2 of the Bill of Rights.

Through an interactive and thought-provoking session, students were guided through the development of the Constitution, the principles that informed its creation, and the critical role it continues to play in shaping governance and society. The session also explored the Founding Provisions, highlighting the core values and freedoms that underpin the Republic of South Africa.

A key focus of the workshop was on responsible citizenship, encouraging learners to reflect on their role in upholding the Constitution and contributing to a society that is inclusive, just, and equitable. The learners actively engaged with the content, asking insightful questions and sharing perspectives that demonstrated a growing sense of civic awareness and empowerment.

The Inclusive Society Institute’s efforts in Gauteng are part of a broader, ongoing initiative. Similar workshops will be rolled out across various districts, ensuring that more learners are reached and empowered through this important constitutional education programme. By fostering informed and engaged young citizens, the Institute aims to help safeguard the democratic principles on which South Africa was built and to inspire the next generation of civic-minded leaders.

That's a very interesting article, but I'd also like to discuss are no-deposit bonuses actually worth it. I’ve tried a few no-deposit bonuses, and they can be useful if you understand what you’re getting into. Many people jump in expecting easy winnings, but in reality shows that it’s more about exploring the platform and getting comfortable with how everything works before risking your own money, especially when you consider the usual wagering requirements. From my experience, they’re worth it mainly as a trial option, not as a real way to make profit.
