The Inclusive Society Institute (ISI) attended a roundtable exploring the best models for co-existent between monarchical rule within a democratic system in Southern Africa, the design of social accords for more sustainable state society relations, and the role of the Southern African Development Community and other actors in supporting and facilitating the transitions to democracy in Eswatini or consolidation of democracy in Lesotho.
The roundtable was held in hybrid format with the in-person event taking place at The Capital Menlyn Maine, Pretoria. It was hosted by Gateways for Peace – an EU-South Africa Partnership for Peace & Security. It was held on Tuesday, 18 April 2023. The CEO of the ISI represented the Institute.
