DevelopmentAid is the world’s premier information service provider for international development aid and economic and humanitarian assistance stakeholders. Our mission is to provide up-to-date and critically relevant information for donors, agencies, consultancies, non-government agencies, and individuals working the international development sector.
DevelopmentAid is aligned with the work of the Global South Perspectives Network (GSPN) by promoting development coordination between and within Think tanks in the Global South. It also emphasises the importance of inclusive dialogue and representation in global governance, advocating for the voices of marginalized communities to be heard and considered in decision-making processes.
Games did not become part of digital culture all at once. Their 1win-app.ke integration unfolded gradually, through a quiet process that placed them within everyday digital consumption. Today they share space with social networks, video platforms, and other forms of online content without appearing separate. Perhaps this normalization reflects an ongoing adaptation to a world where digital environments define daily activity.
This is a valuable initiative — having access to reliable and up-to-date information is essential for everyone working in international development. Promoting coordination and inclusive dialogue is especially important today. In daily work, I also find it helpful to take short breaks, sometimes with something simple like Wheelie Life, a fun wheelie stunt game that helps me relax.
