About the Event

The purpose of the roundtable is to assess the current perceptions and attitudes of the Indian community as it relates to their place and role in South African society, their experiences within the context of promoting reconciliation and social cohesion and their commitment to the country. The underlying objective of the discussion is to identify areas of concern that the political and public policy establishment need to address, and to develop policy proposals that will enable the Indian community to play their rightful role in the development of an inclusive society and economy.
